Terms of Service

1. What this service is

Panhandle Tree Care is an independent referral and information service. We publish guides about tree removal, trimming, and stump grinding in the Amarillo area, and when you ask for a quote we connect you with an independent, third-party tree service provider who may contact you. We are not a tree service and do not perform, supervise, warrant, or guarantee any tree work. Any contract for work is between you and the provider.

2. Independent providers

Providers we refer are independent businesses, not our employees, agents, or partners. We do not control their pricing, scheduling, workmanship, or safety practices. Texas does not require a state license for tree service work, so we do not represent that any provider is licensed; we encourage you to ask every provider for proof of insurance and to check any voluntary credentials (such as ISA Certified Arborist) yourself before hiring. Any dispute about work performed is between you and the provider.

3. Information on this site

Cost ranges, seasonal guidance, permit notes, and diagnostic content are general information based on published sources reviewed on the date shown on each page. They are not a quote, not arboricultural advice for your specific tree, and not legal advice. Prices vary by provider, tree, and access; only an in-person assessment produces a real quote. Where we could not confirm a fact, the page says so.

4. Text messaging (SMS) program

Program description. If you check the consent box on our quote form, you agree that Panhandle Tree Care and the independent tree service provider(s) matched to your request may send you text messages (and calls) about your request — confirming details, letting you know a provider is following up, and related customer-care messages. This is a transactional program tied to a request you initiated. It is not used for promotional marketing.

• Consent is not required to submit a request or receive a quote.
• Message frequency may vary.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages from that number.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or contact us via the contact page.
• Carrier disclaimer: wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include major U.S. carriers; delivery is not guaranteed.

5. Calls and call recording

The phone number on this site is a tracking number. Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality, lead-routing, and dispute-resolution purposes, with a notice at the start of any recorded call. See the Privacy Policy for how call data is handled.

6. Age restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to submit a quote request, check the SMS consent box, or otherwise use this service to arrange work at a property.

7. Acceptable use

Don't submit requests on behalf of someone who hasn't asked you to, submit false contact information, scrape or copy the site's content for republication, or interfere with the site's operation. We may decline or discard requests that appear fraudulent or abusive.

8. Intellectual property

The text, structure, and design of this site are owned by Panhandle Tree Care or its licensors. You may read, print, and share links to pages for personal use; republishing the content requires permission. Provider names on the site belong to those businesses.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and the referral service are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that a provider will contact you, be available, or perform to any standard; that price ranges will match a quote you receive; or that the site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Panhandle Tree Care and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any damages arising from work performed by a provider, from your reliance on information on the site, or from your use of the SMS program. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the referral service is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to hold Panhandle Tree Care harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or any dispute between you and a provider.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Potter County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; changes take effect when posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after that is acceptance of the updated terms.
